Because I am a loyal St. Louis Cardinal fan, I will watch part of the game today. Since Mr. Bruce is not home to yell at the screen, I might watch more than the first few innings. This has not been their best season, not by a long shot. Yet I love those guys, I will be very sad when the season it over. As Yogi Berra might say, "It's not over until it's over." That will be when the World Series in over, with the Milwaukee Brewers winning.
We watch almost every game during the season. These "Boy of Summer" entertain us, give us a special pride for Missouri, and give us reason to eat pop-corn. Fox Sports Midwest broadcast most of the Cardinal games, and do a great job of covering the games, the players, and team gossip. The regular team of sportscasters are Dan, Rick, Jim, and my personal favorite Al.
Al Hrabosky pitched for both the St. Louis Cardinals and the Kansas City Royals back in the day. A long career actually, 1970-82, also with a couple other teams. I loved watching the "Mad Hungarian". He has been a color commentator since 1985 for the Red Birds. He announces games just as he played ball- with personality!
Got to run, I just heard the umpire yell, "Play Ball!
