Let's Hear It For Laughter

A two for one post, this is also on

Hello out the in cyberspace, have you had a good laugh today? I have. Yes, I know the world is full of awful sad news, but one must take time for laughing. I watched a bit of my daily Jeanne Robertson DVD, laughed so hard I had to stop. Laughter is the best medicine.
I guess I might as well laugh at the cold and snow, my complaining hasn't helped. Actually, our little corner of SW Missouri missed the big snows, it was just cold. Mr. Bruce took the car to a car wash yesterday to get the splashes off. The sun is so bright today had to close blinds because of the glare. Isn't that wonderful!!
I know there are people not laughing about the football games yesterday. I personally think the Super Bowl will not be nearly as exciting as the play-off games. Of course, I watch the Super Bowl for the commercials. (PS: We are rooting for Green Bay, but not wearing a cheese head)
Mr. Bruce and I are having our own yearly winter competition. It's called, "The Thermostat Game". I want it warmer, he wants in cooler. This seems to be a popular game with many married people. Right now, he is winning, just got the propane bill. He tells me to put on more clothes, I tell him to take his shirt off.  I have a heater near the computer that is upstairs, so that's a good thing.
There is a big turkey thawing in the kitchen. Mr. Bruce got it as a Christmas gift from CoxHealth. He will cook it tomorrow; I hope he doesn't forget to put it into a pan. Don't laugh, a couple of turkeys ago that's what he did. Of course he'll divide it into several meal portions for the freezer.
If you aren't giggling by now, there is something serious wrong. The cure for that is watching a Jeanne video.
