Last night I started writing about our short trip to St. Louis for a new post to this blog. It soon turned into a feature length "tell it all", which I am positive is much more interesting to me than anyone else.
We made a quick drive through Cuba, MO to see the murals. This one is of a Civil War battle that was fought near by. The artists who did the murals are very talented.
We had a fun two days at Ameristar Casino; a lovely room, good food and service at the Falcon Diner, and new slots. Wednesday afternoon we went to the Missouri History Museum. My favorite area was the on the 1904 World's Fair, Bruce liked it all. We both like history, so want to go back again. It's been there for almost 100 years, we have been in the area hundreds of times, but had never been. Boy, are we sorry!
Yes, we were having a good time, which ended on Wednesday night when Bruce got sick. (I think bad food, he thinks stomach bug.) I honestly do not know how he drove home Thursday. I know we had an guardian angel with us. He is feeling well, went to his volunteer job today.
